Following SuperSports’ forced move to play home games at the Tshwane University of Technology (TUT), Matsatsanta a Pitori knew that bigger games would have to find alternative venues.

The first of many is against Chiefs this coming Saturday in Rustenburg at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium at 15:00. The news was announced by United via Twitter.

ARTHUR ZWANE ON WHY ORLANDO PIRATES ARE BETTER THAN AMAKHOSI

Meanwhile, Chiefs coach Arthur Zwan believes bitter Soweto rivals Pirates have an important edge over Amakhosi.

As last weekend’s event went, the Sea Robbers marched into the Nedbank Cup final after downing Amakhosi at the FNB Stadium, with the goals coming from Kermit Erasmus, Yusuf Maart (Chiefs), and Sandile Mthethwa.

According to Zwane, the Buccaneers have established a core while his Chiefs team are still working to form connections.

However, looking at both line-ups, Chiefs started with seven new players compared to Pirates’ six.

“Obviously the only difference when it comes to that is us bringing in new players, that needed to gel,” Zwane via SABC Sport.

“We were also working on our chemistry and understanding and when you look at Pirates how many players that they brought this season.

“Already they had a core. With us, we didn’t have a core. We had to start afresh. When you look at players that were part and parcel of the team this season, some of them did not play.

“Taking into consideration that most of our key players, for me very key players that could have played a huge role, [even in Saturday’s game] and many other games that we ended up losing, they were out injured,” the Chiefs mentor concluded.
