Without dwelling too much on the recent past events, let’s jump straight into what we expect this weekend in Durban.

  1. As usual, The Amakhosi faithful in KwaZulu Natal will provide a massive crowd at the iconic Moses Mabhida Stadium in Stamford Hill, Durban.
  2. Following Siyabonga Ngezana’s ruined confidence at Loftus, we expect the new left-sided central defender Edmilson Dove to grab his Amakhosi debut.
  3. Ashley Du Preez is still injured, Zwane will make a different selection up front if Khama Billiat fails an expected late fitness test.
  4. The club’s brand new signing Bonfils-Caleb Bimenyimana will be absent, he is yet to acquire his work permit.
  5. With Chiefs in a packed stadium, Richards Bay players are expected to run, kick and perform harder than ever.

Saturday’s game is set to kick off at 20:00.

Kaizer Chiefs are expected to unleash another Naturena product.

Amakhosi fans celebrated with high excitement as Happy Mashiane was announced as a first-team footballer. Middendorp described him as ‘very calm.’

Soon after we met the likes of Keletso SifamaNkosingiphile NgcoboNjabulo Blom, and Sabelo Radebe while the likes of Darrel Macheke and Lebohang Letsoako got a run in the CAF Champions League under Gavin Hunt.

The next name could be Omega Mdaka. Just a brief intro if you’ve never heard of him. He is a rather superb 19-year-old left-back who was an unsung hero as the U19s won the 2022 DStv Diski Shield (DDS) title in July. Read the full story here.
