According to Truter, Chiefs’ loss to Sekhukhune in the first round at FNB makes Amakhosi eager to settle the scores.

“It [winning the first round] gives is confidence them a Dangerous team,” Truter told KickOff.

“It makes them a team that want to overturn that first round us want to come and beat us at our home ground.

“With Chiefs, anywhere in South Africa, they have the numbers in the stands, in terms of supporters, and they’ve played a few games at Peter Mokaba, so [our] home ground advantage goes out the window,” the former Swallows and AmaZulu coach added.

AMAKHOSI TABLE OFFER FOR CAPE TOWN CITY STAR

In other updates, new reports say Mduduzi Mdantsane could become the newest Glamour Boy.

As reported by the South African website last week, the 28-year-old attacking midfielder from Cape Town City is on the brink of becoming a Glamour Boy.

The report said Mdandantse, Cape Town City, and Kaizer Chiefs have agreed on terms.

According to the latest update from Soccer Laduma, Chiefs have reportedly put money where their mouths are by putting an offer to the Mpumalanga-born star.

Meanwhile, the Soweto giants have completed two pre-contract deals with two central defenders: Thatayaone Ditlhokwe from SuperSport and Sphiwe Msimango from TS Galaxy.
