Kaizer Chiefs: Dolly says one thing that Billiat needs

Kaizer Chiefs attacker Khama Billiat is still not the same guy we watched at Mamelodi Sundowns. Here is what Keagan Dolly thinks he needs.

It’s been tough for his fans to watch. Kaizer Chiefs superstar Khama Billiat is yet to produce the magic he delivered in the yellow Mamelodi Sundowns shirt.

What does he need according to his captain Keagan Dolly?

KHAMA BILLIAT AT KAIZER CHIEFS 

It was in July 2018 when the Zimbabwean attacker made one of the most controversial moves in PSL history.

The then 28-year-old forward was unveiled by Chiefs smiling with the Glamour Boys love and peace slogan.

We all felt the Soweto giants were to become unstoppable and ‘Khamaldhino’ was going to be a Chiefs legend.

Following three full seasons, Billiat has underdelivered with 24 goals in 119 games in a gold and black shirt.

Billiat has looked even worse under Arthur Zwane this season. What is the issue?

DOLLY ON WHAT BILLIAT NEEDS 

“I think with Khama [Billiat] he’s been long in the game he’s experienced,” Dolly said via FARPost.

“He has experienced times like this [before] where he was struggling to score goals for the club.

“I think he came out on top all the time, we all know Khama Billiat is a quality player. We all know his strengths. I think it’s just going to take one game and one goal that’s going to change this.

“I think for myself as well I started the season very slow, but look I started scoring goals, I started getting my confidence back. I think one goal will help Khama,” Dolly concluded.

Meanwhile, it is not a certainty if Billiat will start in the Soweto derby against Orlando Pirates on Saturday at 15:30.
