Coaching Kaizer Chiefs to a Soweto derby victor is nothing to be smirked at, especially when you’ve been feeling intense pressure to deliver better results.

As The South African website reported on Saturday, a Yusuf Maart wonder goal in the 74th minute was enough to snatch all three points.
The victory lifted Chiefs up to third spot while Pirates remained in fifth place.

Speaking after winning his first derby on his first attempt, coach Zwane revealed he was quite desperate to be the winning coach.
“For me as well as a coach, I needed it today the most because I wanted to start on a high note and it happened and thanks to God that he gave us the three points and he also gave our boys the strength to hang in and work very hard,” Zwane said as quoted by iDiskiTimes.

“I think we deserve it, even second half, those two [Pirates] chances were half chances, but I must give credit to the boys once more,” the Chiefs coach added.
