Kaizer Chiefs fans give name to Zwane’s football

Kaizer Chiefs fans are on cloud nine after dominating Maritzburg United on Tuesday. A name is now created for Arthur Zwane’s team.

Amakhosi ajabulile? Arthur Zwane’s new Kaizer Chiefs team has been given a new name. It is known as ‘Zwane Ball” or “Mangethe Ball” which is taken from the coach’s Zulu clan name.

KAIZER CHIEFS WALK OVER MARITZBURG UNITED

As The South African website reported on Tuesday night, the Glamour Boys claimed their first win of the season, where Zwane made two changes to the line-up.

Dillan Solomons replaced Njabulo Blom at right back, while Lehlogonolo Matlou made his official debut as central midfielder in the place of Cole Alexander.

Goals from Ashley Du Preez, Keagan Dolly, and Mduduzi Shabalala sealed a 3-0 victory at the FNB Stadium.

The result follows after a shock 1-0 loss to Royal AM last weekend, but the fanbase was pleased to note that Amakhosi were the better team that night.
