Kaizer Chiefs new signing Zitha Kwinika believes nothing can stop the Amakhosi this season.

Kwinika believes the revamped Amakhosi side are ready to return the glory days back to Naturena.

Nothing can stop Kaizer Chiefs! – Kwinika

“It’s going to be a great season. It’s not only about me, but about the group at large.” Kwinika told the Kaizer Chiefs media team.

“Everyone in the team knows the pressure there is to come to rectify what has happened at the Club.

“It’s high time now for the Chiefs faithful to have a smile on their face. It won’t be an easy journey, it’s important that everyone comes together as a group.

“If we do it as a team, there’s so much potential, so much quality in this Kaizer Chiefs group that I don’t see anything or anyone that can stop us.

“It’s a case of getting together and making the Khosi faithful happy again,”

In other news, former Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Teko Modise has heaped praise on Kaizer Chiefs for their transfer business!

The legendary Bafana Bafana midfielder was left largely impressed by the Glamour Boys’ squad overhaul.

Arthur Zwane’s side have made some rather exciting signings ahead of next season.

Kaizer Chiefs also let go of a number of ‘deadwood’ players at Naturena.

The club saw no less than 12 departures but their eight arrivals has Modise, who works as a pundit on SuperSport TV excited.

Amakhosi have done good business – Teko

“I think the biggest conversation around the transfer market is Kaizer Chiefs. I think they have done good business,” Modise told Sowetan.

“Even though the overhaul is going to upset some people with so many legends leaving the team. At some point it had to happen.

“Look at all the youngsters coming in and also with coach Arthur Zwane having coached those youngsters. And Dillon Sheppard who has also worked with youngsters before.

“The youngsters are really in good hands. But to see the success of that, I think that needs to be on the pitch.

“That’s the biggest challenge for Kaizer Chiefs. The youngsters are quick to learn. They’re coachable too and I think the struggle is always going to be the same as to who would challenge Mamelodi Sundowns.”
