It’s now common knowledge that Zungu wants out at Amiens after what has been a difficult season for him so far.

KHAMA BILLIAT

Billiat arrived at Sundowns the same year (2013) as Zungu, and the pair would go on to play for three years together.

At this stage, Zungu knows that he needs a team that would believe in him and players that would support him.

And he can get that at Chiefs with more familiar players around him as he aims to return to his old fitness and rediscover his form.

KEAGAN DOLLY

Dolly and Zungu are friends – the duo played in France as rivals on the pitch but they kept in touch off the field.

Dolly has come back to the PSL after a difficult period in France, and if there is any player that understands Zungu’s hardships then it’s none other than the Amakhosi left-footer.

The fact that Dolly is earning well, and he’s getting game time could be enough to convince Zungu to join Chiefs.

STUART BAXTER

Stuart Baxter is a huge Zungu fan having worked with him at Bafana Bafana between 2017 and 2019.

At times, Zungu wasn’t popular among the South African fans but he delivered whenever he represented Bafana Bafana under Baxter.
