Kaizer Chiefs MUST sign THIS striker! – Former star

It’s vital for Kaizer Chiefs to sign one of South Africa’s top strikers according to a former Glamour Boy.

Fees Moloi believes the Amakhosi have to go out of their way to sign Bafana Bafana star Victor Letsoalo.

The Glamour Boys got rid of Leonardo Castro, Samir Nurkovic and Lazarous Kambole. The trio were the only recognized strikers at Naturena.

And while Kaizer Chiefs have conducted some smart business by buying exciting young players, they NEED Letsoalo to complete the puzzle according to Moloi.

Kaizer Chiefs need Letsoalo – Moloi

“According to me even if Royal AM was giving him the money. I would still suggest that he leaves because the club has signed Nurkovic and Gamildien for the purpose of using them,” Moloi told KickOff.

“What if he doesn’t leave now when he is wanted by Kaizer Chiefs and then ends up regretting when this chance doesn’t come again.

“Royal AM has options now and it would make sense that they let him leave so that he can test himself in another environment.

“If he is certain about his abilities then Letsoalo should get into the heat at the big clubs and seek to prove himself there.

“Kaizer Chiefs really need a striker like Letsoalo because they don’t have an outright striker so I feel he would be more suited to a club like them.”

In other news, legendary Bafana Bafana defender Matthew Booth believes Mamelodi Sundowns will once again win the league title.

According to the now football pundit, no team including the Amakhosi will be able to match the Brazilians for a long time to come.

“Kaizer Chiefs did well in the market last season and I think they have done even better in this period.” Booth told Citizen.

“I can see that the gap is not going to be that extensive. Financially, Mamelodi Sundowns have got a massive advantage on the rest of the 15 teams.

“I think they’ll continue to dominate if they keep the core of the team and make very clever additions in areas that are needed.

“I still see Sundowns being dominant because Kaizer Chiefs have got a long way to re-establish the competitiveness in the league.

“I’m just disappointed that the rest of the pack are not finding innovative ways to try and compete with Sundowns because they can.

“They can compete with them if they get their scouting and their youth development systems in order. Over the last couple of seasons the gap has just been too big.”
