Former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder’s troubles show no sign of ending

The fortunes of former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Siphelele Ntshangase continue to show no signs of improving.

The fortunes of former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Siphelele Ntshangase continue to show no signs of improving.

Ntshangase, who now plays for Marumo Gallants, is playing for his THIRD different coach this season.

The 28-year-old failed to play under Sebastien Migne – who made it known that the player was signed without his input or consultation.

He is also yet to feature in matches that Dan Malesela has overseen since taking over last month.

Siphelele Ntshangase has managed just 76 minutes

Ntshangase’s time has been limited to 76 minutes spread over two substitute appearances when Raymond Mdaka was in charge in-between Migne’s sacking and Malesela’s appointment.

Both his appearances ended in defeats – against Stellenbosch FC and Mamelodi Sundowns.

Ntshangase had last started a competitive match in February 2021 when Kaizer Chiefs were sensationally sent packing out of the Nedbank Cup by Richards Bay before being substituted at the half-time break.

In his last two years at Amakhosi, Siphelele Ntshangase only managed seven appearances.

Marumo Gallants are currently in 12th place in the DStv Premiership standings with 14 points after 13 matches.

They will next be in action away to Swallows on Saturday, 11 December at 15:30.
