Massive changes coming to Naturena

Chiefs will not only do a massive overhaul of their playing squad, but rumours still abound as to whether Arthur Zwane will retain his position as head coach. Even if he does, the club will need to make some drastic changes next term after a disappointing campaign. The Glamour Boys didn’t win any silverware, meaning their trophy drought will extend into a ninth year, and they finished in a lowly 5th place in the PSL.

Kaizer Chiefs first team getting the surgery it needs

Amakhosi have already confirmed the signing of SuperSport United centre back Thatayaone Ditlhokwe and deals for Mduduzi Mdantsane and Given Msimango are in the pipeline. They’re also likely to part ways with a host of senior men including Khama Billiat, Eric Mathoho and even skipper Itumeleng Khune, although there is still plenty of uncertainty around Itu’s future. That’s before we start to entertain the various and vicious transfer rumours doing the rounds as the local football scene enters another silly season.

Who of Fiston Mayele and/or Ranga Chivaviro will join the club? Take your pick. The Chiefs first team is going to have a very different look and feel in 2023-24, that’s for sure.
