Kaizer Chiefs scored star defender for FREE!

According to reports, a clause in the defender’s contract at UD Songo allowed for him to leave the club for free!

“Dove came on a free transfer to Kaizer Chiefs from UD Songo.” a source told KickOff.

“The kind of contract that he signed with UD Songo at the beginning of the season allowed him to leave on a free.

“So, it is for this reason that straight after returning from the COSAFA Cup he just told the club that he is leaving and off he went to train with Chiefs.

“So, it was a bargain for Kaizer Chiefs to get an international on a free transfer.

“Some can say whatever they want but the nature of doing business in football is to avoid spending wherever possible and this is what happened with Chiefs.”

“There are no easy games of course, I think it’s all tough games. Drawing the Mighty Kaizer Chiefs is good for us in terms of testing.

“I think the first leg being an away draw, that gives us a bit of an advantage. Also If you can get the job done away from home early, that puts us in a very good position in the second leg.”
