Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns transfer target’s absence explained

“He has not been at the right fitness levels, but he has been working really hard.” Stan Matthews told SoccerLaduma.

Despite a failed move to Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns in January, Matthews confirmed Mbule is set to return to the team this weekend.

“I think he is in the matchday squad against AmaZulu for Saturday, so we are hoping to see him back. He will (bring) a big difference. He is a great player.

“If you have Mbule in there instead of Rasebotja, suddenly your midfield looks a lot different. If we have Ngoma upfront instead of one of the other youngsters or to put pressure on Iqraam Rayners a little.

“Then suddenly (Thamsanqa) Gabuza is back. We will look a little bit better. I think we were unlucky against Royal AM, but that experience is very important. Hopefully they make a difference.”
