Sundowns interested in signing Kaizer Chiefs star! – REPORT

Kaizer Chiefs reportedly run the risk of losing a key player to rivals Mamelodi Sundowns if they don’t act fast!

Njabulo Blom’s future at Kaizer Chiefs has been under the microscope of late.

The talented midfielder is yet to agree a new with the Glamour Boys, with his current contract coming to an end at the end of the season.

Blom’s agent, Rob Moore, publicly accused Chiefs of ‘short-changing’ the 22-year-old utility player.

And now, new reports suggest Mamelodi Sundowns are interested in landing the Kaizer Chiefs star.

Kaizer Chiefs star catches Mamelodi Sundowns’ attention?

According to soccer publication Goal, both Mamelodi Sundowns and SuperSport United are interested in signing Njabulo Blom.

“From January 2023 onwards Blom will be free to sign a pre-contract with a club of his choice with SuperSport and Sundowns said to be monitoring his situation at the Naturena-based giants.” – the publication reported.

With January fast approaching, Kaizer Chiefs fans will be desperate for the club to go all out and make sure Blom signs a new contract.

The DStv Premiership goes on a two-month long Fifa World Cup break but when will Kaizer Chiefs be in action again?

The Amakhosi closed the first half of the season out on a high note after defeating arch rivals Orlando Pirates last weekend.

While this break may disrupt Arthur Zwane’s surge up the DStv Premiership log standings, there are still two fixtures to look forward to before the DStv Premiership returns!

Kaizer Chiefs were selected, by fans, to participate in the upcoming Carling Black Label Cup which takes place on 12 November 2022.

Chiefs face rivals Orlando Pirates in their semi-final while Mamelodi Sundowns face AmaZulu in the other semi at the FNB Stadium.
