Mamelodi Sundowns are the favourites to sign Njabulo Blom, according to FarPost.
This is because SuperSport United can not match them financially while Chiefs have not improved his wages as yet. Therefore, the Brazilians are the current favourites to sign Blom in January.

As things stand, Blom and his agent Rob Moore have not received an improved offer.
Furthermore, DStv Premiership champions Sundowns are very interested in bringing him to Chloorkop.

SuperSport United and Gavin Hunt are also very interested in Blom.
However, their CEO Stan Matthews seemingly conceded defeat to The Brazilians based on their financial status.

“You cannot go to a gunfight with a pocket knife, you know. So I can go fight Chiefs, Sundowns and Pirates on their players in terms of money.” So why would I pick a fight which I cannot win? He is a big league player and needs to earn big money, which his agent wants him to earn,” Matthews stated.
“We will not entertain it because, realistically, it is very unlucky to afford him. I can never match the big three in terms of salaries; hence, players coming to our club must know that take pay cuts,” Matthews added.

SUNDOWNS HAVE THE MONEY FOR BLOM
Now, Mamelodi are the front runners for Bloms signature. Furthermore, The Brazilians have the available finance to meet Blom an his agents demands and they have the reputation and form to bring some much-needed silverware into Bloms career.
However, Blom loves Chiefs and Arthur Zwane recently confirmed that he is still in his plans. Amakhosi management will be well aware of Sundown interest in their star player. Hopefully, this is enough to wake them up in time to give Blom a salary package he deserves.
