Golden Arrows captain Thabani Zuke is confident his side will defeat Kaizer Chiefs for the third time in a row!

Golden Arrows welcome Kaizer Chiefs to the Moses Mabhida Stadium for a blockbuster DStv Premiership clash this afternoon.

Both sides return to action for the first time since the lengthy FIFA World Cup break began in late October.

The Amakhosi will be looking to build on from their superb Soweto derby victory last time out where they defeated Orlando Pirates 1-0.

A win for Golden Arrows will see them leapfrog Orlando Pirates into fifth position on the standings, two points behind their opponents.

Chiefs will be looking to end a two-match losing streak against Arrows this afternoon. But club captain Thabani Zuke believes it’s going to be three in a row!

“Even on Saturday, we will do it (beat Chiefs) again,” Zuke said as quoted by IOL.

“And we’ll beat them again in February when we play them again. If you beat Kaizer Chiefs, you have that confidence.

“We need points now because we are almost entering the second round of the season, and that is where things get harder.

“If we can beat Chiefs, come January, we have SuperSport United and other games. It will give us that confidence.”

“We are coming back from a long recess. It is an unusual one at this time of the season. So it will be a case of adaptation and a change of mindset from our players.” Arthur Zwane said.

.“We finished the first half of the season on a high, against a team (Pirates) that are currently on a high. We just want to continue where we left off in terms of the performance.

“With the hope that we still have the same rhythm. We are starting to get to know each other very well. The chemistry is also getting better, as is the approach of the players, which has also been key.”
