Kaizer Chiefs legend Rudolph Seale has given his verdict on the Amakhosi’s new signings while admitting it may take some time before they start gelling.

Kaizer Chiefs began their 2021/2022 campaign in rather disappointing fashion after going down via penalty shootout against rivals Mamelodi Sundowns.

Though the result was unfavorable, there were many positives from the performance of Stuart Baxter’s side and Seale believes Cole Alexander was one of them while Kgaogelo Sekgota was ‘lost’.

Kaizer Chiefs legend dissects new signings’ perfomances

“Kaizer Chiefs bought players, and you can see there has been a huge improvement from last season. But to get those players to gel is another thing.” Seale told Kick-off.

“Let’s make an example of Sekgota, he’s a brilliant player and a good signing, but he looked lost yesterday. I want to compliment Cole Alexander. Yes, the role that he is playing is the one that Katsande played.

“I think he is even doing three times better than Katsande did at Kaizer Chiefs, also he’s a local boy. He reminds me of Wellington Manyathi. He broke a couple of Sundowns transitions, and I think that’s why he got injured. He got stretched, and he was overworked.”
