Recently axed Kaizer Chiefs captain and legend Bernard Parker looks set for an immediate return to the PSL!

The legendary striker’s lengthy spell at the Glamour Boys came to an end after the club opted against renewing his contract ahead of next season.

At the age of 36, Bernard Parker was expected to retire and make a move into coaching after his Chiefs exit.

This however looks highly unlikely with reports suggesting he’s surfaced at a new top flight club!

Kaizer Chiefs legend training with SuperSport United!

“FARPost can reveal that Parker has started training with SuperSport United, where his former Kaizer Chiefs coach Gavin Hunt recently took over as head coach.” a FarPost report read.

“He trained with the team, and he looks sharp. Gavin regards him highly, so anything can happen,” a source told the publication.

“We are speaking to a few clubs that have shown an interest.” Mike Makaab told SoccerLaduma regarding the former Kaizer Chiefs star.

“Bernard and myself met last week and we are still weighing up the options going forward. We also have a few ideas in terms of projects that we would like Bernard to get involved with.

We would have to see what transpires over the next few weeks. He still wants to play. The guy is in great physical shape, so we will just wait and see.”
