One of Kaizer Chiefs’ top players, a Bafana Bafana international, has just been SUSPENDED from the PSL and will miss Amakhosi’s next match.

Yusuf Maart picked up a red card against Richards Bay.

Meaning, he is suspended and will miss Amakhosi’s next matches against Cape Town City and AmaZulu.

Therefore, Maart is likely to be replaced in the midfield by either Phathushedzo Nange or Cole Alexander.

Both men offer worthy replacements. Alexander was a regular starter under Stuart Baxter while Nange came into his own towards the end of last season proving to be one of Amakhosi’s most promising talents.

Chiefs’ Bafana Bafana midfielder is the second player to be suspended this season already. This is because Nange still had to serve his two-match suspension after receiving a red card in Amakhosi’s final match last season.

Now, he is available for selection and is likely to come into the midfield against City or AmaZulu.
