Kaizer Chiefs latest | TWO Amakhosi players to sweeten Ngcobo’s deal?

Amakhosi are set lose TWO players whom they are reported to be keen to use in order to sweeten a deal that will see Ngcobo move to Naturena.

Kaizer Chiefs are set lose TWO players whom they are reported to be keen to use in order to sweeten a deal that will see Njabulo Ngcobo move to Naturena.

Swallows FC chairman David Mogashoa has already confirmed that they are in talks with Chiefs over Ngcobo’s possible transfer ahead of next season.

This after Chiefs formally approached them for their services of the 2020-21 DStv Premiership Defender of the Season.

However, it has now emerged that Swallows are looking for at least two players from Chiefs plus cash in exchange for Ngcobo.

According to Soccer Laduma, the two players identified are Philani Zulu and Dumisani Zuma at this stage, although the latter could be taken out of the equation due to injury.

Zuma is only expected to return in September after being ruled out for four months just before the end of the 2020-21 PSL season.

Zulu, on the hand, has slowly become a regular for Chiefs in recent months as he’s featured both at left-back and left-wing respectively.

Chiefs are looking to conclude the Ngcobo deal sooner rather than later given the fact that they have competition from Mamelodi Sundowns.
