Kaizer Chiefs latest: Sacked duo find NEW clubs!

Two former Kaizer Chiefs midfielders that were sacked by the club have both found new teams for the remainder of the 2021/2022 campaigns!

Former Kaizer Chiefs midfielders James Kotei and Arohasina ‘Dax’ Andrianarimanana have both secured new clubs.

Kotei was signed by Kaizer Chiefs back in 2019 from Simba SC however the Ghanaian midfielder was axed before he could even make his official debut for the Glamour Boys.

The former Amakhosi midfielder had been without a club since parting ways with Belarus outfit Slavia Mozyr in 2020.

Kotei has since finally found a new club after being signed by Omani side Sohar FC.Arohasina ‘Dax’ Andrianarimanana, who many will remember from Kaizer Chiefs’ lengthy transfer ban, has returned back to Fosa Juniors in Madagascar.

Fosa are the same club that took the Amakhosi to court over the signing of ‘Dax’ in 2018. Chiefs were handed a two-window ban by Fifa after it was confirmed that the Malagasy midfielder was still contracted to Fosa at the time of signing for the Amakhosi.

Meanwhile another Kaizer Chiefs midfield target in the form of South Africa Under-23 star Thabo Cele is on the verge of signing for a new team in Poland.

Though the Amakhosi were his reported first choice back home in South Africa, he has reportedly made progress in signing a contract in Europe.
