Kaizer Chiefs fan-favourite and attacker Dumisani Zuma is back at the club’s training base with the rest of his teammates.

Kaizer Chiefs fan-favourite and attacker Dumisani Zuma is back at the club’s training base with the rest of his teammates.

Zuma had been out for four months with a knee injury, but he appears to be on the mend as his knee is still heavily strapped.

However, his return to training will undoubtedly excite Amakhosi fans who feel his contribution is missed on the pitch.

Zuma has been unfortunate with injuries since joining Chiefs from Bloemfontein Celtic in 2017, but he hardly puts a foot wrong whenever he’s on the pitch.

The 28-year-old attacker has featured in 100 competitive matches for Chiefs thus far, scoring 12 goals and recording 11 assists.

Zuma’s return to full fitness is yet to be specified by the Chiefs medical team but by the look of things, he should be available for selection in no time.

However, Zuma will certainly miss Amakhosi’s league match with Chippa United at FNB Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
