Kaizer Chiefs face a make or break week in the PSL as they come up against Sundowns on Sunday 25 April at Loftus before hosting Chippa United on Wednesday afternoon.
Amakhosi have not won a PSL match since their 1-0 triumph over Orlando Pirates in the March Soweto Derby. They have fixtures to make up due to their participation in the Caf Champions League but remain three points adrift of eighth place Baroka FC and are 11 points behind seventh placed SuperSport United.
Celtic are ninth after they played to a 1-1 draw with fellow top-eight hopefuls Stellenbosch.
While Baroka hold eighth spot right now there is effectively a four way battle for the final place in next season’s MTN 8 involving the Limpopo club, Kaizer Chiefs, TS Galaxy and Celtic.
