Former Kaizer Chiefs winger Junior Khanye has named TWO players he feels the club desperately needs for their revival ahead of next season.

According to Khanye, Chiefs should look no further than SuperSport United duo of Sipho Mbule and Teboho Mokoena in order to build a solid foundation.

Khanye said Chiefs need young and classy players who would deliver for the club over a long period than experienced players from other PSL teams.

Alternatively, Khanye said Chiefs can sign from within their youth structures if they cannot find young, quality players from other clubs.

“In order to properly rebuild the club, the management must sign classy young players who will give Chiefs plenty of quality over a long period of time,” Khanye told iDiski Times.

“SuperSport United duo of Sipho Mbule and Teboho Mokoena, for example, are both young players who have a lot of quality and they can help revive that team over a long period.

“Chiefs need quality young players whether they are signed from other clubs or developed from within,” he said.

Amakhosi continue to be linked with a possible move for Swallows FC striker Ruzaigh Gamildien among other players tipped to join them.

However, Khanye doesn’t think the 32-year-old Bafana Bafana international would be a great signing for the Glamour Boys.

“Occasionally, the club can sign older players who will add value to the squad, players such as Andile Jali or Linda Mntambo for example,” added Khanye.
