Kaizer Chiefs: Ghanaian legend Gyan spotted at Chiefs village!

Ghana football legend and 2010 World Cup hero Asamoah Gyan was spotted at the Chiefs village training and playing with Kaizer Chiefs.

Ghana football legend and 2010 World Cup hero Asamoah Gyan was spotted at the Chiefs village training and playing with Kaizer Chiefs.

Gyan was spotted training with and playing against Amakhosi at the Chiefs village, according to iDiskiTimes.

The Ghanaian legend featured in an ELEVEN goal thriller played between Chiefs representatives and SuperSport representative side played at the Chiefs village this passed week.

GYAN SPOTTED AT CHIEFS VILLAGE

Gyan is a name well known and widely respected amongst Chiefs fans and everyone all over Mzansi. Furthermore, he was one of the biggest stars of the 2010 FIFA World Cup, a World Cup in which Ghana had the whole of South Africa and Africa behind them as they made history by making the World Cup quarter finals.

Therefore, the Ghanaian icon was one of the most instrumental figures during this time and one of the most supported players in SA and Africa. Now, he was recently spotted training with and playing against Amakhosi.

GYAN JOINED CHIEFS LEGENDS IN FRIENDLY

Unfortunately, he was on the receiving end of a 7-4 loss against a Chiefs representative XI.

However, he was happy to be a part of the match and even scored a couple of goals at the Chiefs village.

“It was a fun game to be part of and I was happy to score some goals. Some of the legends still have it,” Gyan stated.

Amakhosi legends featured prominently with coach Arthur Zwane even being given a rare run.

Zwane featured alongside assistant coach Dillon Sheppardand several technical members.

Furthermore, manager Gerald Sibeko, development coaches Ntsie Maphike, Donald ‘Ace’ Khuse, David Mathebula and Jimmy Jambo, as well as former players like Reneilwe Letsholonyane, Siyabonga Nkosi, Brian Baloyi, Cyril Nzama, Nhlanhla Kubheka and Amakhosi icon Lucas Radebe.
