There’s also a meeting with Stellenbosch not so far away, and they were excellent on the opening day against Pirates.

Amakhosi misfiring

The Glamour Boys looked lacklustre and short of ideas against a well-drilled, ocasionally dangerous Chippa side. The Chilli Boys were happy to cede possession to Chiefs and then spring them on the break whenever possible. Christian Saile was probably Chiefs’ most positive player in attack. Frustratingly, the returning Nkosingiphile Ngcobo looked rusty. Understadable, but they need a player of his talent to get back up to speed as soon as possible.
