Chiefs hand legend’s number to Edmilson

We are now days away from watching Edmilson Dove’s Kaizer Chiefs debut. He will also be wearing an Amakhosi legend’s number.

Kaizer Chiefs’ new defender Edmilson Dove is yet to make his official debut for the club due to delays over his work permit. Meanwhile, the 28-year-old Mozambican has been twice spotted with a jersey number.

KAIZER CHIEFS COMPELTE EDMILSON DOVE DEAL

As The South African website previously reported, the former Cape Town City footballer was finally announced by the Glamour Boys on 11 August 2022.

Amakhosi confirmed that the central defender/left back signed a two-year deal that includes an added one-year option to renew.

EDMILSON DOVE SPOTTED WITH JERSEY NUMBER

While the Mozambican has been awaiting his work permit from the South African Home Affairs, he has been spotted training with his teammates at the Naturena village.

This was where he was seen wearing number 25, a jersey number that has been made available by the recently departed club legend Bernard Parker.
