Former Kaizer Chiefs target or transfer reject, if you want to call him that, Ruzaigh Gamieldien, showed his class with a stellar strike in the DStv Compact Cup on Saturday.

Saturday saw Warriors FC become the champions of the DStv Premiership’s new Compact Cup. The Gauteng side beat Coastal United 2-1, thanks to a rather brilliant brace from Swallows FC’s Ruzaigh Gamieldien.

AMAKHOSI’S FORMER TARGET GAMIELDIEN SCORES SCREAMER

While both of the former Ajax Cape Town stars’ goals were very pleasing on the eye, but it was his first goal in the opening stanza that was a beauty.

The Swallows striker picked up the ball on the far left flank before unleashing a perfect curler into the top left-hand corner, Osarine Masuluke was never going to save that one – even FIFA’s best goalkeeper of the year, Eduoard Mendy, could have struggled to stop this strike.
