Zambian striker Lazarous Kambole has made the switch from Kaizer Chiefs to Tanzanian outfit Yanga SC.

Kambole joined Amakhosi in 2019, but failed to scale the dizzy heights expected of him with the Glamour Boys.

Kaizer Chiefs axed 10 players in total

He scored two goals in 46 appearances in all competitions and was one of 10 players either sacked or transfer-listed by Kaizer Chiefs a fortnight ago.

The 28-year-old joined Kaizer Chiefs from Zambian giants Zesco FC and had been linked with a move back to his home country, but that failed to materialise.

Yanga SC official Hersi Said announced to the media that Kambole has signed a two-year-deal with the Tanzanian giants.

“We have reached an agreement with Kambole and his representatives,” Said reportedly told Kickoff.

“It’s a two-year deal. We agreed to terms, and the player is expected to arrive in Tanzania before the end of this week.”
