BREAKING: Kaizer Chiefs crash out of MTN8!

Chiefs have crashed out of the MTN8 following their 0-0 draw against AmaZulu in the second leg played at Moses Mabhida Stadium on Sunday.

Kaizer Chiefs have crashed out of the MTN8 following their 0-0 draw against AmaZulu in the second leg played at Moses Mabhida Stadium on Sunday.

The result means AmaZulu advance to the MTN8 final on an away goal rule having netted in that 1-1 draw at FNB Stadium.

Amakhosi needed to, at least, get a score draw to stand a chance of progressing to the final but they couldn’t even get a shot on target.

Bonfils-Caleb Bimenyimana returned to the starting line-up despite reports suggesting that he would be out for four weeks.

However, he was replaced in the second half after experiencing discomfort on his right thigh as Chiefs battled to create goalscoring chances.

Inall honesty, this was a game where both sides knocked the ball around without creating obvious goalscoring chances on the day.

And for AmaZulu, that was enough as they will now face Orlando Pirates in the final of the MTN8 on 5 November.
