Kaizer Chiefs make contact with one of PSL red-hot strikers – report

Kaizer Chiefs have reportedly made contract with one of PSL’s red-hot strikers in an attempt to bolster their frontline for the new season.

Kaizer Chiefs have reportedly made contract with one of PSL’s red-hot strikers in an attempt to bolster their frontline for the 2023-24 season.

According to a report by Soccer Laduma, Amakhosi have inquired about the availability of Marumo Gallants striker Ranga Chivaviro.

Chivaviro was in superb for Gallants this season despite his team’s failure to survive relegation. The 30-year-old netted 17 goals in 30 matches.

The burly striker scored 10 goals in 19 league matches for Gallants, and he added a further seven in 10 CAF Confederation Cup matches.

Chivaviro didn’t score in the Nedbank Cup, but perhaps he could have scored had Gallants progressed beyond the Last 32.

KAIZER CHIEFS INTEREST IN CHIVAVIRO CONFIRMED?

“The Siya crew has been led to believe that Kaizer Chiefs have made contact with Ranga Chivaviro’s camp to see if there is a possibility of him joining them for next season,” reads the report.

BONFLIS-CALEB BIMENYIMANA SET FOR KAIZER CHIEFS EXIT?

Now, the latest developments could well signal the end of the road for Bonflis-Caleb Bimenyimana despite only arriving at the start of the season.

Caleb hit the ground running just a few games after his arrival but he ran out of steam and ended up being benched by Arthur Zwane.

He scored just seven goals for Chiefs, four of which were from the penalty spot – three of those were a hat-trick against Stellenbosch FC.
