Kaizer Chiefs head coach Arthur Zwane has urged the club’s fans to be patient.

Many Amakhosi fans expected the club to hit the ground running in emphatic fashion after a busy transfer window.

This however wasn’t the case for Arthur Zwane’s side in their opening DStv Premiership clash last weekend.

The Glamour Boys were stunned by an exciting Royal AM side in Chatsworth courtesy of a 1-0 defeat.

Arthur Zwane has since urged the Amakhosi faithful to be patient, claiming the side is still at ‘level four’!

Kaizer Chiefs coach calls for patience!

“If I have to give a rating out of 10, maybe we are still on four. We are not even halfway there because we still have a long way to go.” the Kaizer Chiefs coach told Sowetan.

“I think we are still far from where we want to be. As much as we are building in all aspects in terms of confidence.

“The way of play, the culture and all those things, because it’s not going to be something that will happen overnight.

“It’s going to take some time, but that’s why Kaizer Chiefs are going to have to go through stages.

“There are phases that you have to make sure you complete. This one first and be sure that everyone is on the same page before you move to the next one.

“Otherwise you won’t be able to involve everything at once because that will cause sort of a division. Players won’t even know whether they are coming or going.”
