Kaizer Chiefs ‘interest’ leaves Bafana Bafana star in HOT-WATER!

Cape Town City boss has made it clear that Kaizer Chiefs target Terrence Mashego will NOT join any local clubs!

Kaizer Chiefs interest has caused a stir for Bafana Bafana and Cape Town City star Terrence Mashego.

Cape Town City chairman John Comitis confirmed he had a stern talking-to to the Bafana star.

Terrence Mashego has been linked with a move to the Amakhosi however Comitis confirmed NO such move will take place this season.

Comitis rules out Kaizer Chiefs move for Mashego

“I spoke to the player yesterday [Wednesday], and I asked him what was all this about,” John Comitis told KickOff regarding the Kaizer Chiefs target.

“Because we have made it very clear that no player will be leaving the club this season because we are challenging for everything.

“And he is very much part of the family, he is very much committed to the club.

“He just had an operation on his knee yesterday from the injury that he had with Bafana and he is completely committed to the club.

“I’m telling you now, Mashego will never play in this country (for Kaizer Chiefs or any local team.). From Cape Town City, he’s going overseas.”

Furthermore, Kaizer Chiefs are expected to steal the headlines once again in the coming days!

According to reports, the Amakhosi have agreed deals with Siyethemba Sithebe, Yusuf Maart, Dillon Solomons and Kamohelo Mahlatsi.

Maart is expected to join the Glamour Boys on a three-year deal. Reports suggest the transfer fee will be around R5 million!

Sithebe joins the club as a free agent after leaving AmaZulu. The combined value of all four players according to Transfermarkt sits at R22 million!

According to further reports, Kaizer Chiefs are closing in on three more wingers!

Mahlatsi (23-years-old) can play as both a winger and a striker. Solomons (26-years-old) has featured as both a wing-back as well as an attacker for Swallows in the past.

Kaizer Chiefs have also been linked with Golden Arrows attacker Pule Mmodi and overseas based Ayanda Patosi.
