Breaking: Kaizer Chiefs announce their two new players

It’s official. Ashley Du Preez and Zitha Kwinika are both Kaizer Chiefs footballers after making the moves from Stellenbosch FC.

The mighty Kaizer Chiefs have announced two new faces in the playing squad. The names are Ashley Du Preez and Zitha Kwinika.

KAIZER CHIEFS COMPLETE TWO TRANSFERS

The Du Preez and Kwinika families are enjoying proud moments. Their respective sons, Ashley and Kwinika have joined Amakhosi, the biggest name in South African sports.

“Kaizer Chiefs are happy to announce the signing of defender Zitha Kwinika and striker Ashley Du Preez from Stellenbosch FC from 1 July 2022,” the club announced.

The 24-year-old Du Preez will come in as a speedy striker/ winger, while Kwinika, who returns to the Glamour Boys since his junior days, will refresh the aging backline as a central defender.

ARTHUR ZWANE WELCOMES HIS TWO MEN

The club’s newly appointed head coach, Zwane, was available to share his thoughts on the club getting the deals done as early as May.

“We are very happy to have acquired the services of the two players and look forward to welcoming them to the Village when we start with our preparations for next season,” says Coach Zwane.

“The two lads have the qualities we need as Amakhosi and we believe they will quickly adjust to the Amakhosi way of play and deliver the goods for the millions of supporters who have been hungry for success for a number of years,” he added.
