The Kaizer Chiefs jersey could be the one Kobamelo Kodisang might be wearing in the 2022/23. His Portuguese side Braga have reportedly decided to loan him.

KAIZER CHIEFS TARGET KODISANG TO BE LOANED OUT?

According to these new reports, Braga decided to trigger the contract extension option they had on Kodisang. While the loan destination is yet to be confirmed, Amakhosi are expected to pounce after showing interest in the Rustenburg-born 22-year-old winger.

The player’s agent Mike Makaab confirmed the news before saying the club’s choice to loan Kodisang to the Portuguese lower division is not suitable.

“Braga have exercised their option on Kobamelo, that’s a further two seasons,” Makaab told SABC Sport.

“They’ve informed us that their intention is to loan him out to a second division team, which we are not happy with – we are not going to accept nor does the player want to do that.

“So, it is either he remains at Braga and fights for a place in the senior team or we need to look at other options for him. But honestly speaking, we are going to have to let this one unfold in its natural way,” Makaab added.

“We as Prosport International are now in discussions with them about the players’ future,” he concluded.
