Kaizer Chiefs miss out on key R5 million transfer target!

One of Kaizer Chiefs’ key transfer targets has secured a move to a second division side in Europe for the 2022/23 season!

One of Kaizer Chiefs’ key transfer targets has secured a move to a Portuguese second division side.

SC Braga and Moirerense have reached an agreement over the loan deal of South African star winger Kobamelo Kodisang.

Moirerense confirmed the deal, days after Kodisang’s move to Portuguese top flight side GD Chavez crashed.

The Bidvest Wits academy graduate has been at the center of attention after Kaizer Chiefs opened negotiations with Braga for his services.

The negotiations however proved to be unsuccessful with the player’s agent Mike Makaab confirming the stalemate.

In other news, Amakhosi head coach Arthur Zwane has commented on his side’s failure to sign Kobamelo Kodisang.

We aren’t disappointed – Arthur Zwane

“No, we are not disappointed (about not signing Kodisang).” Kaizer Chiefs head coach Arthur Zwane told members of the media.

“I think we have assembled a very good squad. We’ve got balance. We’ve still got Mahlatsi, we still have Sekgota.

“We have many players if we want to change the formation, to play with wingers.

“If we want to play with wing-back. Kaizer Chiefs still have players who can give us that power on the right and left flanks. I think we have balance.”
