Former Chiefs and Sundowns star to sign for PSL club

George Maluleka is moving on. His next move follows after the former Kaizer Chiefs star was dramatically released by Mamelodi Sundowns.

Former Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder George Maluleka is on the verge of finding a new football club.

The 33-year-old from Tembisa is reportedly heading to Durban.

MALULEKA ON THE WAY TO AMAZULU

According to fresh reports, the ex-Kaizer Chiefs central midfielder, who was released by Sundowns last month, is finalising a move to Usuthu.

“Maluleka, 33, officially parted ways with Sundowns last month, putting an end to a two-year stint with the Brazilians,” Soccer Laduma reported.

“However, the player’s camp has wasted no time in finding his next destination, with Siya sources revealing that AmaZulu FC looks set to complete a deal to bring on board the midfielder to the KwaZulu-Natal-based club.

Talks between Usuthu and the player’s camp look to be at an advanced stage and an announcement about his signature could be made in the coming days,” the outlet added.

KAIZER CHIEFS APPOINT SCIENTIST

In other news, there’s a new techincal team member at Naturena. The club have announced Muzi Maluleke has joined Amakhosi.
