Breaking: Zimbabwean club confirm Chiefs payment

What was all that? The club that reportedly accused Kaizer Chiefs of transfer dishonesty has confirmed Amakosi’s innocence.

Kaizer Chiefs fans can start breathing easy again. Chicken Inn have confirmed there is no FIFA transfer ban case against Amakhosi.

KAIZER CHIEFS FACE FIFA TRANSFER BAN

As The South African website reported on Monday, the Glamour Boys were thought to be facing a FIFA transfer ban over Teenage Hadebe’s move from Naturena to Turkey in 2019.

It was claimed that Amakhosi failed to pay Hadebe’s former club Chicken Inn their due cut.

CHICKEN INN CONFIRM AMAKHOSI’S INNOCENCE

The Zimbabwean outfit has since come out to reveal that the Soweto giants delivered the final payment after a delayed process on the side of Hadebe’s Turkish buyers Yeni Malatyaspor.

“I can confirm that Kaizer Chiefs have fulfilled their side of the bargain,” the club’s secretary-general Tavengwa Hara told FARPost.

“The delays were by the Turkey club. We paid each other through FIFA, so the matter is resolved,” Hara added.
