Breaking reports: Kaizer Chiefs complete fourth signing with Orlando Pirates target

A leading African journalist has reported that Kaizer Chiefs have signed Pule Mmodi from Golden Arrows.

Kaizer Chiefs are busy. Breaking reports say Amakhosi have completed their fourth signing of the window with Golden Arrows attacker Pule Mmodi.

MMODI CONFIRMED KAIZER CHIEFS INTEREST

The news follows 48 hours after Mmodi confirmed Chiefs’ interest via The Sowetan.

“Yes, Chiefs have shown interest but I have not signed with them,” Mmodi said on Wednesday.

“But I’m still talking to Arrows as well and we will see how it goes, but as I said, I have not signed anything with anyone,” he added.

REPORTS: CHIEFS COMPLETE ANOTHER DEAL

According to the leading Ghanaian journalist, Nuhu Adams, the Glamour Boys have now signed the 29-year-old attacking midfielder from the Free State town of Theunissen.

Mmodi’s deal is said to be a two-year-contract with an option to extend for a year.

“Kaizer Chiefs have signed Pule Mmodi (29) from Golden Arrows, having beaten arch-rivals Orlando Pirates to the signature of the attacking midfielder,” Adams reported.

“Mmodi signed a two-year contract with an option to extend for another year. He played 28 games and scored 5 in the PSL,” the report concluded.

The former Uthongathi star is expected to be announced by Kaizer Chiefs in the coming days. Mmodi becomes the fourth signing after Siyethemba Sithebe, Zitha Kwinika, and Ashley Du Preez.

Meanwhile the Swallows FC duo of Kamohelo Mahlatse and Dillon Solomons are reported to be in the final stages of putting pen to paper.
