Kaizer Chiefs have entered the race to sign a highly talented Cameroonian striker from Ghanaian club Asante Kotoko.
Reports from Ghana originally claimed the Glamour Boys have submitted an offer for 20-year-old striker Franck Mbella Etouga.
A new update has since been provided by the player’s agent confirming the Amakhosi are indeed in talks to sign the star!
Etouga has been lethal in front of goal for Asante Kotoko. The Cameroonian youngster scored 20 goals for his side this season.

Kaizer Chiefs have gotten rid of all three of their strikers ahead of next season.
Samir Nurkovic, Lazarous Kambole and Leonardo Castro were all axed by the club.
This means it’s of utmost importance for the Glamour Boys to sign a lethal striker like Etouga.

Kaizer Chiefs face incredibly stiff competition to land Etouga. Reports from Ghana suggest the likes of Atletico Madrid and Galatasaray are interested in the striker.

According to the player’s agent Mike Makaab, the Glamour Boys are indeed in talks with Etouga over a move to Naturena.

“South African giants Kaizer Chiefs are keen on landing Asante Kotoko SC striker Franck Mbella Etouga.” GHANAsoccernet reported.
“Chiefs have officially submitted an offer to the Porcupine Warriors for the services of the Cameroonian striker who has taken the Ghana Premier League by storm this season.
“There are European clubs such as Saint-Etienne, Galatasaray, SD Eibar and Atletico Madrid all linked with the 20-year-old center forward.
“Etouga has been lethal for Kotoko this term having netted 20 goals.
“He also provided three assists and has also won 7 man of the match awards helping Kotoko to win the Ghana Premier League for the first time in eight years.”

According to further reports, Kaizer Chiefs are closing in on three more wingers!
The Glamour Boys are tipped to sign both Kamohelo Mahlatsi and Dillon Solomons from their cross-town rivals.
Mahlatsi (23-years-old) can play as both a winger and a striker. Solomons (26-years-old) has featured as both a wing-back as well as an attacker for Swallows in the past.
Kaizer Chiefs have also been linked with Golden Arrows attacker Pule Mmodi.
