Long-standing Kaizer Chiefs transfer target Bongani Zungu has set the record straight regarding the Amakhosi’s interest in him.
According to the Amiens midfielder, the only South African club that has placed an offer for his services is Mamelodi Sundowns!

The good news for Kaizer Chiefs fans however is that Zungu confirmed he’s open to other offers. The Bafana Bafana star is YET to decide if he’ll return back to the Brazilians.

“I’m very calm. As I said earlier, this is a very, very important part of my football career.” the reported Kaizer Chiefs target said as quoted by DiskiTimes.
“I want this to be the last contract of my career. Whether abroad or at home.” Bongani Zungu continued.
“I met president Motsepe the other year and he told me Sundowns will always be home,” the reported Kaizer Chiefs target added.
“So Mamelodi Sundowns will always be my home. No matter what happens from now until when I make my decision on where I’m gonna play.
“Sundowns is the only team that spoke to my agent and they are speaking to my agent still. Others are trying to as well.
“I’m a top player, of course teams are going to try and find out what’s your situation and all. My phone is open, I’m listening to offers.”

The Glamour Boys are tipped to sign both Kamohelo Mahlatsi and Dillon Solomons from their cross-town rivals.
Mahlatsi (23-years-old) can play as both a winger and a striker. Solomons (26-years-old) has featured as both a wing-back as well as an attacker for Swallows in the past.
Kaizer Chiefs have also been linked with Golden Arrows attacker Pule Mmodi.
