Mike Makaab to discuss Parker and Baccus with Kaizer Chiefs bosses

Kaizer Chiefs captain Bernard Parker and midfielder Kearyn Baccus could know next week if they still have futures at the club.

And this is because their agent, Mike Makaab, is set to travel to Johannesburg next week where he will meet with the Chiefs hierarchy.

Makaab confirmed having a very brief discussion with both Chiefs Football Manager Bobby Motaung and Sporting Director Kaizer Motaung Jnr.

Both his clients – Parker and Baccus – are out of contracts in June, and their futures at Chiefs remain a huge subject of speculation.

A section of Chiefs fans want Parker (36) gone as they believe his time at the club is up and should make way for younger players.

Baccus, on the other hand, appears to be one of the fan-favourites but he was nearly lost to Chiefs in January as the club wanted to let him go.

And those are the two key players Makaab will discuss with the club bosses to try and find out if Chiefs still need their services beyond the expiry of their contracts.

PARKER AND BACCUS ON THE SPOTLIGHT AS MAKAAB MEETS KAIZER CHIEFS BOSSES

“We’ve had a very brief discussion with Bobby and Kaizer Jnr, and I’m probably going to make my way to Johannesburg next week [to discuss my players’ futures],” Makaab said on Gagasi FM as per iDiski Times.
