Bongani Zungu has finally made his return to the field, but will he end up in Kaizer Chiefs or Orlando Pirates colours?

The former Bafana Bafana midfielder made his much-anticipated return to the field of play during Amiens 3-2 victory over Guingamp in the round of 32 of the French League Cup.

There has been massive speculation of a potential return to the PSL but will he sign for Kaizer Chiefs or Orlando Pirates?

This was his first start in over a year and he had a solid run too – Zungu featured for a busy and promising 87 minutes.

With Zungu finally making his comeback, he is fit and raring to go.

The former Mamelodi Sundowns player has been a massive interest for Amakhosi since signaling his intentions to leave back in July according to iDiskiTimes.

However, as things stand, the 28-year-old has not commented on where he would like to go. A return to the DStv Premiership is possible if Kaizer Chiefs or Orlando Pirates make a good enough offer.

What matters now is that he has recovered and is back on the pitch.
