Kaizer Chiefs handed MAJOR boost in Patosi transfer race!

Kaizer Chiefs have been handed a major boost in the race to sign Ayanda Patosi with the player ready to return back home!

Kaizer Chiefs transfer target Ayanda Patosi has broken his silence on links to the mighty Amakhosi!

The former Bafana Bafana and Cape Town City star currently plays for Iranian side FC Foolad.

Patosi claimed he has received offers from Iranian clubs and another “country” already.

Despite interest from abroad, the Bafana Bafana midfielder but is open to a return to South Africa and more importantly Kaizer Chiefs!

Kaizer Chiefs handed MAJOR boost in Patosi race!

“In terms of coming back to South Africa, I am open to anything.” Patosi told SoccerLaduma.

“I can’t rule out anything. You can never really know. And I can’t say I won’t be coming back to South Africa next season.

“I do see articles online linking me with a return to South Africa, and that Kaizer Chiefs and other clubs are interested in me. But I have not spoken to anyone about joining any of the clubs.

“I don’t really know what’s going to happen, and I haven’t made my decision.

“It’s true that I have offers from other clubs as well and I have to be careful and sure in making my decision.

“I have offers from other clubs in Iran, and there’s another offer from a club elsewhere. Right now, I don’t want to mention the club or country yet.”

Kaizer Chiefs have already unveiled two new signings following the close of their 2021/22 campaign.

The ‘major’ revamp at Naturena got underway with the arrival of defender Zitha Kwinika and attacker Ashley Du Preez.

The club are also expected to announce the arrival of Siyethemba Sithebe and Yusuf Maart in the coming days.
