Former Kaizer Chiefs striker Shaun Permall believes Khama Billiat’s contract should not be extended at the end of the season.

Billiat is one of the highest earners at Naturena according to reports, with only Keagan Dolly earning more than him.

Despite his high earnings, the talented attacker is struggling to make a big impact on the field for Arthur Zwane.

Khama Billiat has just three assists this season for the Glamour Boys. Furthermore, Sifiso Hlanti and Eric Mathoho should also be sacrificed at the end of the season according to Shaun Permall.

“This time of the year, if they were going to keep them on, they would’ve renewed already.” Permall told ThisIsFootballAfrica.

“I highly doubt that they’re going renew their contracts, if it’s gone this far without happening.

“The kid Njabulo Blom is not a bad player, a decent player, and Khama Billiat for me the price tag does not do him justice.

“The amount of money that he is earning. He hasn’t done much to warrant the huge salary that he is earning at Kaizer Chiefs.

“We don’t know the exact amount but from past reports, it has been said that he is earning quite a bit.

“Like I said he hasn’t done much, and the other two (Hlanti and Mathoho), I think it’s the end of the road for them.”
