Kaizer Chiefs appoint Kaizer Motaung Jnr as new sporting director

Kaizer Chiefs have officially appointed former striker Kaizer Motaung Junior as their new sporting director.

Motaung Jnr has been part of the management as an understudy since his retirement from football for a number of years now.
His role, at the time, was unidentified and the club supporters kept asking as to when he would be elevated to a more senior position at Chiefs.

Chiefs took to their social media platforms to announce Motaung as their sporting director, the role a section of fans wanted Doctor Khumalo to occupy for years.

Chiefs’ decision to rope in Motaung as part of the ‘technical team’ is a clear demonstration of their intentions to bring back the old glory days.

The club recently brought in Molefi Ntseki as head of development and academy development in addition to Stuart Baxter as their new head coach.
And while the Chiefs management would be applauded for handing Motaung Jnr the role, millions of fans are waiting with baited breath to know who the club will be signing.
