Kaizer Chiefs: Amakhosi legends who could join Arthur Zwane

Some of the biggest names to ever play for Kaizer Chiefs, Amakhosi legends, could be seen alongside Arthur Zwane at Naturena in the future.

Itumeleng Khune, Reneilwe Letsholonyane and Donald Khuse could all be involved with coaching roles at Amakhosi in the future.

1) ITUMELENG KHUNE (CHIEFS CAPTAIN)

Khune’s contract is coming to an end at the end of the current season.

Amakhosi’s captain confirmed that he is willing to consider coaching at Naturena in the future if that is what Amakhosi management decide. Therefore, we could see Khune on the sidelines in the future as a goalkeeper coach. Even if it does not happen next season, this is likely to happen in the next couple of years.

2) RENEILWE LETSHOLONYANE (FORMER CHIEFS PLAYER)

Letsholonyane was appointed as the U-17 AmaZulu coach earlier this year, according to SowetanLive.

Meaning, he is now a coach and he has the potential to work his way through the ranks. As an Amakhosi legend, it would come as no surprise to see him coaching one of Amakhosi’s developmental sides.

3) BERNARD PARKER (TS GALAXY)

Amakhosi legend, ‘Die Hond’, hinted at a future coaching role at Amakhosi before leaving for TS Galaxy.

Also, he completed his UEFA CAF C license late last year. Meaning, he is on track to coach in the future. Given Naturena’s sentimental value to Parker, we could also see him give back to the club in the future.

4) DONALD KHUSE (FORMER AMAKHOSI PLAYER)

Khuse was one of the most skillful midfielders to ever play for Amakhosi. Furthermore, the legendary ‘Ace’ recently sent his CV to PSL rivals.

So, he is interested in coaching and we know where his heart is. Perhaps he could return to help inspire future midfielders. Imagine Khuse guiding the likes of Nkosingiphile Ngcobo, Samkelo Zwane or Yusuf Maart?
