Kaizer Chiefs closing in on first signing – reports

Kaizer Chiefs and Arthur Zwane are closing in on their first signing with a deal set to be concluded for this top PSL star.

Chiefs are closing in one their first signing ahead of the up-and-coming January transfer window.

In fact, they are ahead of schedule with Amakhosi expected to close out a deal for SuperSport United defender Luke Fleurs in coming weeks, according to SoccerLaduma.

Amakhosi and SuperSport are believed to be close to finalizing a deal between the two clubs.

Therefore, a deal could be concluded in coming weeks.

Fleurs SuperSport contract is coming to an end while his club has resigned himself to the fact that he could sign for Chiefs.

Furthermore, Zwane and Amakhosi have identified the SuperSport defender as a priority signing. Meaning, they are upping the ante to bring him to Naturena.

PERFECT DEAL FOR BOTH PARTIES INVOLVED

Fleurs will be an excellent signing for Zwane and Amakhosi because they are focused on the youth and the future.

Therefore, Fleurs, aged 22, is the perfect target because he guarantees Chiefs several years and he is yet to peak. Most players peak at around 24, so his best is yet to come! Under the guidance of Zitha Kwinika and more experienced campaigners like Njabulo Ngcobo and Amakhosi legend Erick Mathoho, Fleurs would excel.

The talented defender has also fallen out of favour with Gavin Hunt who has opted for Thulani Hlatshwayo and Thatayaone Ditlhokwe.
