Orlando Pirates coach remains humble

“I think we are the team of the month more than coach of the month,” the Orlando Pirates coach said as quoted by KickOff.

“I take it, it’s fine. It’s always going to be individual awards in football. I think it was a fantastic month. The performances of the team were brilliant.

“We managed to get fantastic results and that’s just a consequence. The truth of the matter is we were probably the best team in the month and hopefully we can do it again now in May.”

Billiat to extend his stay at Naturena?

Even when Billiat has been fit, he’s struggled to leave his mark at the Glamour Boys during recent seasons.

New reports however suggest the Glamour Boys are NOT going to offload Billiat at the end of the season.

Instead the club are tipped to offer him a ‘short term’s new contract at the club.

“The club has made sure he gets the best medical assistance available to ensure he recovers well from the injury he is carrying.” a source told Citizen.

“I am not sure how long they will give him, but he will stay for at least another season.”
