Kaizer Chiefs on Wednesday confirmed the departures of FIVE key players as they look to rebuild (again) under new coach Arthur Zwane.

As reported by The South African website, Samir Nurkovic, Lazarous Kambole, Lebogang Manyama, Daniel Cardoso and Leonardo Castro have all not had their contracts renewed.

While there are bound to be more players leaving Naturena in the coming days, at the time of publishing, Itumeleng Khune remains a Glamour Boy.

Khune didn’t make a single DStv Premiership appearance for Kaizer Chiefs in the recently-concluded season, leaving many wondering what plans management had for the veteran goalkeeper.

But watch this space – anything could happen!

Meanwhile, Amakhosi have to date confirmed the signings of THREE players, namely Stellenbosch FC duo Zitha Macheke and Ashley du Preez as well as AmaZulu’s Siyethemba Sithebe.
